first blog entry :) not your typical Friday night!
Voila my very first blog entry on Tumblr! I know at this point, my blog probably sucks big time in comparison to most blogs out there, but ah well…at least I’m glad to finally have created a blog to document my life in Japan, something that I should’ve done more than 2 months ago! Hopefully my posts on this blog will be fairly frequent (at least once a week), and that I will gradually improve my technical skills to make my blog look more attractive.
Last night (Friday evening), while I was finishing up my work and about to go home, I suddenly got invited to a recruitment dinner event taking place at a hotel across from our work (because the recruitment team was short-staffed and needed more Rakuten employees to mingle with potential candidates….shh). Free dinner would be provided, and I love meeting new people, so I thought, why not?
